I have found in my experience that those who proclaim themselves as leaders seldom are. Self proclamation or position does not a leader make. A leader is made by those who follow. A leader does not lead until his followers are willing and able to follow.

Poor Jim has either been on the road and worried about me, or at home trying to be both nursemaid and housekeeper when resting up from the road life was what he needed and deserved. It has caused me to think a lot about the vows we gave to one another on our wedding day, "in sickness and in health"
artists need to be careful to not elevate certain fans over others. In many cases, fans know each other and can be very perceptive. They can pick up on it when it looks like an artist is playing to an audience of one or two where it's actually a full house
All breathing is natural, but when you sing you need to take advantage of the most natural, although somewhat less obvious, parts of breathing that enhance your ease of singing, tone quality, and duration of time that you can sing without wearing out

This month is extremely important in the Southern Gospel Music genre, particularly the second week of September. For one week fans and artists get together for what seems like a never ending cycle of singing and fellowship (not to mention good food)!
I know how easy it is to get lost in the day-to-day shuffle of life. But we need to periodically step back, and look back at the cross, look back at the day Jesus reached out His nail-scared hand to us, look back at where we were then, and look back at every blessing, every change, every thing He has done in us to make us who we are today
So many times people want to believe God; they want to trust Him that everything is going to work out, but they don't want to submit to His Word. They want to just pray and have God miraculously come to their aid, but never check to see if what they're praying lines up with the Word
He said, duh Mom, it's Gospel Music and it carries the Gospel. I, for once in my life, was without words...
For a month I thought about this article. In honor of Mother's Day, I wanted to highlight the favorite songs of some of the "moms" on our label and tell you some of their favorite memories.

It is sometimes confusing to understand the use of these modifications without an example to help us understand how we apply them. We want to give you a song that has been modified so that you can see how to use these in other songs that you singThe next time you hear the question, "What's in it for me?" or the phrase, "It's all about you," you can be equipped to witness to a hurting soul with answers like, "Let me share what really IS in it for you."

Our world is saturated with fear right now, so much so that it's hard for even Christians to keep the fear at bay. Our world is on the brink of some major events. We're all praying for our nation's leaders. One mistake by any of the "players" right now, and this world would be in chaos.
We somehow seem to forget sometimes that the very same God that was there for Moses, Daniel, David and so many others, is the very same God we serve today. And even more important, He hasn't changed. If you can read in the Bible where He did something for someone else, you can trust Him to do the same for you
It doesn't matter whether Jesus was actually born on December 25th or not. It's important that we take the time to celebrate that He was born. It's important that we take the time to tell the Christmas Story again to all the children
I can't believe that Christmas time is here again. It is time for all the Christmas Music and a great time to start using those vowel modifications that we have been talking about in last months article. We want to continue with more of the vowels this month,too. I find my joy in songs- specifically lyrics of songs. For me, joy comes from a different focus. I'm a "make lemonade out of lemons" kind of girl. As a believer, I have found my personal joy in the knowledge that I am saved by the grace of God
